Can Publish Online files, replacing itself

Is there a way to have Adobe Publish Online link open another Publish Online file and replace itself instead of opening up the new content in another window? If there is trick to doing this, that would be awesome.

Thanks in advance,

Bruce

Hi Bruce,

I am afraid there is no way of doing that, however, if this feature is important for your workflow I would request if you can share it here: Adobe InDesign Feedback. This is the best way of communicating with the Engineering and Product Management teams regarding issues and suggestions so they can be implemented in future releases.

Thanks everyone for contributing. I think this would be a great feature to have. I hope Adobe works it into their list of things to do.

I have tried this in Chrome, Safari, and Firefox and you're right: publish online links to other publish online pages always open in a new window. I'm not sure why, because the HTML code is obfuscated, so we cannot see what it's doing. Frustrating!
