Without switching to Preview mode, how do I hide these #!@%&* guides?

Thanks.

Correct answer Greg Parks

Found it: View > Structure > Hide Tagged Frames.

Now I just need to figure out what use the structure panel is for a printed document. Oh well...

And to those who are asking, it's the magenta and blue shaded boxes I find most annoying, but there are also times I really don't need to see that certain text is from a merged data field.

You mean frames around objects or [] around DataMerge fields ? Why do they bother you ?

I can see where they're a little distracting, but if you're working with a merged document, it's fairly important to keep track of what's field info and what's not.

Entertaining Lorem text, anyway. 🙂
