You say you tried different OS - if you have a Windows computer
http://kasyan.ho.ua/indesign/all/blind_open_and_idml-export.html

This might save the file by creating the IDML without opening it and it might recover it.

Other people speicalise in corrupt files like Markzware - you might look into that.

Update your operating system. There were all kinds of issues with Sonoma until 14.5.

Hi Bob, as I said I tried the file with multiple OS

Which ones? If they were all running early versions of Sonoma that would explain it. You should update it anyway and if it's just this file, it might be corrupt.

Hi @lorenzo_7161

Sorry about the crashing. I would like to know if the issue specific to this particular file? If yes, could you please confirm where the file is saved. If it is saved on a network location like office server or dropbox etc. Please copy paste the file to Desktop and see what happens. If it still happens, please share the file at this email address (grp-idfile@adobe.com) and we will take a look.

Regards,

Srishti

I would love to know if this was resolved. The same thing is happening to one of our files here at work. And we all run different operating systems. And we all tried the desktop thing.

Please start a new discussion with full system details and your workflow. I'm going to lock this one to avoid any confusion between your issue and the original one.
