Question

Can't open my application

I have my product registered and bought back in 2012. My Bridge, Photoshop, and Illustrator all launch without wanting me to sign into the CC which I don't have and won't pay for. I paid $300 for my product and now its seemingly locking me out of launching InDesign and asking for a licensing activation for InDesign CC 2014 which is not what I have. I have CS6 the edition right before the CC launch.

I'm hoping someone can help me since Adobe doesn't have a live chat I'm having to ask on the forums here.

Did you EVER have Creative Cloud, subscription or trial, on this same computer?

The CS6 you are trying to use today... Was this a license to CS6 Photoshop (full product) a CS6 suite (full product), a student license, an enterprise product or something else?

Did you ever get a clear answer to this question? I'm having the same problem with Photoshop CS6.

Seems to me that someone has put InDesign CC 2014 on this computer. Do you see it in the Start menu (Windows)/Application folder (Mac)?

I must admit I was a bit confused by the OP post, I mean if you we’re going to install InDesign CC why choose CC2014 and if you did, it should run under the newer operating systems.

Are you being asked to sign into the Creative Cloud or just to sign in to your Adobe ID? It might just be trying to verify your serial number relative to your Adobe ID. Try signing into just your Adobe ID and see if you can launch.

    Which OS ?

Newer versions, such as Mojave, are not supported by Adobe running InDesign CS6, some seem able to but others have issues. Probably best to upgrade to InDesign CC if it’s mission critical for your work, or maybe get a second-hand computer running an older OS for this use only.
