Can't place an Exel (Table) document in the 2023 version of InDesign

Can't place a xls of cvs document in my InDesign, need this very often so please give me the new solution.

Befor it was easy, is now everything changed???

Nothing has changed at all. But you haven't told us what happens when you try.

Why are you using XLS instead of XLSX? Was this file created by a non-Excel application such as Google Sheets or Numbers?

Before I could import (place) both, but now I can't place non of the two and it is generated bij Exel Microsoft. I did it for years, but now it doesn't... It says: "Can't place the file. No filter for this file has been found"
