Can't see guides or page border at times. They disappear?? What did they do in the new update?

What operating system are you using? Does this happen when viewing at a specific magnification or at all viewing sizes? If it happens and you change the viewing magnification does the problem clear up?

The latest Montere 12.5.1. It's random and I am not the only person who is seeing this. When I blow it up, I might see the borders, when I reduce the size I don't but then, its randaom

Are you switching between Normal and Preview modes?

Normal mode shows all grids, guides, margins, items out on the pasteboard, etc.

Preview shows just the page as it will print, more or less.

This just started happening in this updated version of 2022. When I am not in preview I want to see all my guides. I don't see the border of the page at a certain size. Only if I blow it up or reduce does it sort of fix it. But, its random. The last version of 2022 was not the case??

Okay, had to start with the basics. I believe this is a common issue on Macs updated to 17.4, and it's fixed by clearing preferences or the cache. There are a couple of threads about this already, with fixes. (Not on Mac, the info didn't really stick with me. 🙂 )
