The roblems occured after a power cutout on our farm.
I've tried removing and installing the font in creative cloud desctop.
I've also closed the software and stopped it in task manager.
It always starts again and it's slowingt things down.
In the Background Tasks window its been "installing times new roman" since yesterday and nothing happens.
What should I do?
I'm using th newest update of indesign 21,0 x64

If the font is available, try installing it on your system with InDesign closed.

If the document was open when the power failed there may be some corruption, as well, and it might help to run the blind  open and export to .idml script: Blind open and IDML-export

If the script runs successfully, try opeing the .idml file it produced and save as a new .indd.

Is your font a T1, TTF or OTF? T1 will not work anymore.
