Cannot move multiple selected images together

Hello,

I’m experiencing a strange behavior in InDesign that I didn’t have before.

When I select multiple images and try to drag the selection, InDesign moves only one image instead of moving all selected images together. I would like to move the entire selection as a group.

You can see the issue in the attached video.

I’m using InDesign 21.4 on macOS Tahoe 26.3. Is this the default behavior in recent InDesign updates, or is there a setting that could cause this? Does anyone know how to fix it?

Thanks!

    Hi Ronaldinho_92,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry to hear you're unable to move multiple selected images in InDesign. I attempted to reproduce the problem on my end on InDesign version 21.4.1 on macOS Tahoe 26.5.1.

Would you mind updating InDesign to the current version, and if possible, upgrading your operating system? Let us know if the problem persists.

We will be happy to help you further.

    Thanks,

    Harshika
