cannot open multiple indesign files at a time on MAC Using CMD + O

Im Using MacOS Mojave 10.14.6

 

I cant open multiples Indesing files at the same time 

selecting all my files and use CMD + O 

 

It open for exemple: 2/8 files

I have no problems opening up 2 or more files from the Finder using Cmd-O in InDesign 2020. This is on macOS Catalina 10.15.2

 

Please tell us (exactly) what InDesign version you're using. Have you tried restoring your InDesign preferences?

Im using InDesing CC 2020 (15,0,1) The lastest version up to date. 

Im Using MacOS Mojave 10.14.6 . ....... Not Catalina

 

Yes I uninstalled all and reinstalled, but this problem is not new for me since the 2019 version I have this problem, and some coworkers have the same issue.

I have this same problem. I am using InDesign beta version and can't open up more than one document at a time.

Hi there,

 

Thanks for reaching out. I would request if you can share a few more details like:

 

  1. Where are the files saved, locally or on any network or shared drive?
  2. Are you able to open those files one by one?
  3. Please check if you are able to open all the files without using the shortcut.

Hi!

1-The files are saved on a external server. And also on my computer. The problem persist on both places.

2- I can open one by one those files.

I can open multi files of photoshop and illustrator.PSD and .Ai Using CMD + O By selecting all.

 

3- Update**** I just try to do right Clic and select ''open'' .............. it open all my files!  

 

Its a good news! But do u know why it dont open all my fils using the CMD + O Shorcuts?
