Cannot see any templates

On creating new document, Adobe lists a set of preset templates in all its applications, which are free and one does not need to purchase these from Adobe stock. For example in Indesign, one can see a host of templates under each of Print, Web and Mobile along with the blank templates, which are all available for viewing and download. Suddenly I am not able to see these! I can only see the blank ones under each category and the ones that I have downloaded up until now.

I have tried re-installing creative cloud suit, accessing CC through a new account on my Mac and anything that I left out, Adobe support has tried to solve it through remote access. Haven't come across anything like this anywhere online. Any ideas about what is happening and how to resolve this?

It is Adobe 2019on Mac. It was the strangest problem, got resolved on it's own. Once I downloaded a few free ones from Adobe stock, suddenly all of them became visible again on all applications. Much thanks for your inputs !

I see this resolved on its own, but you may have had "Use legacy 'New Document' dialog" ticked under Preferences, and the preference simply reset due to an update in the background.

What version of InDesign? What operating system?

In InDesign 2019 on the Mac, it shows templates I have downloaded but no new ones. At the bottom of the New Document dialog box, there is a search field to search for them on Adobe Stock, which is where they reside: "Find more templates on Adobe Stock".

Further, if I look in the categories where I haven't downloaded them (Web and Mobile), there are more new templates shown but still the search field at the bottom.

You could try restoring your preferences if nothing is appearing.

Trash, Replace, Reset, or Restore the application Preferences
