Hi @lukas3794331537ls,

Thanks for sharing the details and screenshots. To help narrow this down, could you please confirm which version of InDesign you're currently using and also share the details of your Windows OS version?

For the Home screen and view appearing unorganized, please try renaming the CEP folder to CEP.old from this location on your system:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe

If that does not help, then rename the UXP folder to UXP.old from these locations:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe

Once done, relaunch InDesign and let me know if the Home screen behavior improves.

Regarding the GPU being detected but remaining inactive or greyed out, please go through this article and check the requirements and suggestions mentioned there:
https://adobe.ly/4q8EIjM

Also, note that GPU features in InDesign are supported on monitors with a resolution greater than 2K, so please confirm the screen resolution you are currently using.

Looking forward to your update.

Abhishek

As for your request of information.

I had just recently installed Adobe Indesign 2026 the other day.

I am using Windows 10Pro (Version: 22H2)

My Computer specs are as in the image below:

(Note I had been using Indesign in the past with this graphics card before but for some reason it is not detecting it anymore, I am suspecting it could be a hardwear issue, as I recently updated my Nvidia Driver as well)
