HELP!

Adobe, via CC, recently upgraaded my CC to 2026 and now, when i open an INDD doc (and I have have 100's) I cant select pages or master pages.  It allows me to click on a page but it wont allow me to chose another page or master from then.

It drives me nuts that an app gets updated and then doesnt work and you xcant call anyone to fix it!

Please help somebody

it didnt work. I did the shift+contol+opt+CMD / open INDD, cleared preferences and still the pages are still unresponsive.  I tried chnaing screen mode and performance and that didn change  anything either.

Just to make sure: did you clear caches (not preferences) as described in the link I posted? It's clearing caches that specifically can solve some UI issues.

Also, as a tip for the future: to reset preferences, you can now just click this button in General preferences instead of holding the key combo:

Thanks again Lee,

It ended up being far simpler.  The mouse double click speed was set on warp factor 10 and when it was dialled down to half speed everything worked.

......after updating to Tahoe, deleting and reinstalling CC, it was still not playing nicely and I noticed that I couldnt open folders on my desktop unless I double clicked really fast and that gave me a clue......Thank you for your time .  It only took 6 hours!

First, you can disable auto-updates in the preferences of the Creative Cloud app.

Also, if needed, you can reinstall InDesign 2025 from there.

Regarding your problem:

Try to clear caches as described here:

https://www.rockymountaintraining.com/adobe-indesign-rebuilding-preferences-cache/

This often helps solve unusual UI issues. Will it help?
