Cell style not applying

In the attached file the cell in the left column with the words "8. Old Age (65+)" has a cell style with an 8.5 pt font.

However, the font shows as only 8.0 pt. and I cannot find a way to get the style to apply.

What have I missed?

You applied the Character Style Erikson Left Column. Why do you need that style here? Remove it.

BTW: You have way to many styles in the table. Your styles are very bad organised, independent from each other and many manual overrides.
