CEP HTML Link to external website or e-mail

Hi all

I am working on my first CEP plugin.

On the user interface that is written in html, how do I call a link to a website or e-mail so it happens in the users browser/e-mail client.

I tried the "usual way" with the result that the floating palette went white. I guess trying to load the URL or link to e-mail using the chrome browser component inside InDesign.
