Character style defaults

I have a series of paragraph styles and character styles. When i go to create a new text frame, it defaults to a specific paragraph AND character style. I don't know why it started doing this but I want the default characters style to be "none." How do i do that?

Correct answer Dave Creamer of IDEAS

This happened because you selected the styles with nothing selected.  You get out of it the same way: deselect everything and set the styles to your desired ones

In agreement with Dave, with nothing selected, set Character Styles to None.

This happened because you selected the styles with nothing selected.  You get out of it the same way: deselect everything and set the styles to your desired ones
