Checkbox link to text field

I have a yes and no checkbox selection in place and need an additional text field to ONLY be editable if yes is selected from the checkbox selection.

How can I disable the checkbox when no is selected?

    Thank you for your quick response. My apologies as I am new to learning the ins and outs of Adobe. I am currently working on a PDF document. I can provide the page size, however based on your response I am assuming you are referring to something else? Are those specs related to a PDF? If so, how can I find them?
