Color display issue in paragraph style

When we apply a paragraph style, the font is applied but the color never is.
We still have blue characters underlined in blue.
We tried changing the colors, but it doesn't work. We're using CMYK in this project.
In the first screenshot, you can see that the “Text2” style is applied and that the font and font size are correct, but the color is wrong.

In the second screenshot, the selected color is indeed black in CMYK, but the text is still blue.

This issue occurs with all paragraph styles, whatever their colors are.
How can we get the paragraph style to apply???

Hi @casual_adventurereae0 , You are showing Paragraph styles, but not Character styles. Your text could have both applied with the Character style set to underline. Something like this:

With the texts’ Paragraph style set to Text 2 and its Character style set to [None]

As others are saying, you likely have a Character Style accidentally stuck ON. To test, select your affected text that has a correct paragraph style. See if the Character Style panel also is applying a named style. Reset that style to None. Also, with no text selected, your Character Style panel should be resting on None.

Where did this text come from? Imported from Word? Google Doc? Is there a hyperlink assigned to it all? Check the nested styles and character styles as well.

Does it happen with all documents or just a particular document? If a particular document then export it to IDML and resave back as INDD. If possible share a sample document for us to test
