Color Settings Not Retained for New Documents in InDesign 2025

Color settings are displayed as synchronized. Working color spaces RGB: eciRGV v2, CMYK: PSO Coated v3 are defined in the setting. However, Indesign 2025 loses these “global” settings. Instead, newly created documents use other working color spaces...

Thanks for the quick response: After global color settings were reassigned via Adobe Bridge… problem was solved.

In my experience, each new version upgrade/install requires me to revisit Photoshop/and/Bridge (Edit > Color Settings) in order to re-synchronise the new versions. I'm not sure if this is happening during point upgrade patches or not.

Thank you for reaching out. It sounds like InDesign 2025 is not retaining the global color settings you have defined. To address this, please try resetting InDesign preferences and tell us if it helps. You can follow the steps here: https://adobe.ly/3NB9zUo. Remember to back up your preferences before doing so.
