Colors changing while printing documents from InDesign/Acrobat

Hi,

So I've been experiencing problems with the documents that I want to print since Indesign new update was made (december 2019).  The colors seems to be ok in the document, but each time we print it the colors changes. We tried on multiples printers and the problems stays the same, we also tried with 2 different computers it also stays the same. But we tried on 2 computers that had both made the updates with indesign and acrobate. We also tried to print it directly from InDesign instead of from Acrobate still nothing changed.

We never changed anything in the document, it was a reprinting that needed to be done.

Is it a bug? Or one of the parameters in Indesign or in Acrobate that changed and we didn't notice it.

thank you

(in the picture the original is in the left and the reprint on the right)

Is it a bug?

No, it’s more likely that the print driver isn’t managing the color correctly. Composite printers usually use drivers that expect RGB color, and they don't always handle transparency very well. Try exporting a PDF that is converted to RGB and flattened, and print from Acrobat. Set your Export Output tab to this:

Also the printer specific color settings are in the OS Print, and not the ID Print dialog

Hi,

It is better with the printer settings changed, but still isn't the original (or good color at the end).

We've tried a buch of settings to see what was the best, but we were going way further in colors than with the setting given by you guys.

So we are still trying things out at this point, see what is better.

We do know that even before the printer had difficulties with the transparencies in documents, but always printed the good colors.

Thank you
