Colors off between programs

Is the document color mode of the AI file you are exporting as .svg RGB, and is the color you are trying to match in ID also RGB? Exporting a CMYK document to .svg will convert it to RGB, so if you want a color match, create the art in an RGB document, export to .svg, place in InDesign, and make sure the InDesign document’s assigned RGB color profile is the same as the Illustrator assignment.

The InDesign rectangle’s fill color is using RGB values that match the exported .svg circle, and both the AI and ID documents have Adobe RGB as the RGB profile assignment.
