Colour change on export to pdf

Hi

Having exported to a pdf using our standard export setting, saved so they don't change, the colours of images is different to what it should be. On trying to replicate this a few days later they all look normal. Has anyone experienced anything like this? I have been in touch with Adobe who can't offer an explanation but asked me to get in touch when it happened again. The output intent on both pdf's is as expected and the same.

What color profile, color mode and color space does your image have in InDesign?

How is the colorspace in PDF?

What program do you use to open the PDF?

Hi Will

Images are RGB, Colour space is a coated setting. The pdf is CMYK.

Both the correct and incorrect are the same.

Opening the pdf in Acrobat Pro version as attached.

Kind regards

With "the colours of images is different to what it should be", do you mean that for example red comes out as blue and yellow as purple?

Between RGB and CMYK there will always be some difference. Not all RGB colors can be converted faithfully to CMYK.
