Question

Compare texts from word doc and Indesign file

I have Word document with texts in a table - about 12 - 18 pages. Each row has a sentence or two. I place each row of text into InDesign file into separate text frames (like in comics text bubbles). So each page in InDesign has 10 - 20 text frames, which is 10 - 20 rows from the Word document. Then I want to check if the InDesign file texts were not edited, for example, if I did not delete a letter or question mark at the end of the sentence etc. Is there any way to compare the texts from the Word document with the texts in InDesign files, and mark any differences?

Hi Michalart: Nothing automatic that I am aware of—just a careful review.
