Continuous Flow Placing

I am looking for a solution. I want to Place 400 pages in PDF format. What are the key commands?

I am using a MacPro OS X 10.6.8.

-- the term " continuous flow" is not entirely appropriate for placing PDFs, by the way.

To roll your own script all you need is a handful of Place commands, feeding the import preferences wih each page numer from the imported PDF. A good exercise to try yourself.
