Control panel blank in InDesign 2019 upgrade

I just upgraded all of my Adobe software and InDesign is my most used application. In the new 2019 version, the Control Panel is empty. I work with the Control Panel all day long so without it, my work flow has slowed.

Is there any fix yet for this Control Panel issue?

OR, can someone help me get back to my 2018 version? It disappeared after I did the upgrade and I cant figure out how to get it back.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Lori

The instructions are slight incorrect if you're on a Mac.

It's not in the Library folder under your computer name.

Choose Go > Library to open your personal user folder > Library, then follow the directions.

On my computer, the path is: [Computer Name] > Users > [yourname] > Library.

    Hi all,

This issue has been fixed in the latest update (ID 14.0.1) of InDesign CC. Please use the Creative Cloud app to update InDesign. Please refer to this help article if you face any difficulty in updating. : https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html

Here's the workaround (copied from InDesign User Voice):

    * * *

In the meanwhile follow the below mentioned two steps for a workaround:
    1. Try resetting your cache for InDesign.

For win, rename the following cache.
    C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Adobe\InDesign\Version 14.0\en_US\Caches\InDesign SavedData——→ C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Adobe\InDesign\Version 14.0\en_US\Caches\InDesign SavedData_bk

For Mac rename the following folder:
    /Library/caches/Adobe InDesign/Version 14.0/en_US/InDesign SavedData——>/Library/caches/Adobe InDesign/Version 14.0/en_US/InDesign SavedData_bk

    2. Once you have renamed the folder, use the control strip in docked mode. Once docked, you should not face the problem.

I did see this online earlier today but there is no "Adobe InDesign" folder in my caches folder.
