Question

Convert ID to PowerPOint with ID2Office 2.0

Hello, is there someone using the plugin ID2Office 2.0 to convert a InDesign document to a PowerPoint. I have to produce often PowerPoint but I'm a graphic Designer so it is better for me to work in ID. I used to export as PDF and than convert my PDF in PowerPoint but I wonder if it is worth it, or have a better result to use this plugin.

Since we got the Plugin, it seems that the best solution is, from ID, export to PDF than convert to PowerPoint. So the plugin is not satisfying at my point of view. I was looking for someone else who had experience with this plugin. Thanks to all with your answers.

    From memory.

Set up your InDesign document the same dimensions as your powerpoint presentation.

Then you can copy and paste directly from InDesign to MS Office.

I have fierce recollection of doing this with great success. It would be exected that advanced features won’t come across.

But basic text, logos, images, layout etc. should transfer.

Honestly, if you want Powerpoint, create in Powerpoint. Anything else is going to leave you with a bunch of extra work.
