Converting a QuarkExpress 2023 document to InDesign document

I would like to open dcouments (newsletter content) that were originally created in QuarkExpress 2023 and convert them to InDesign files. I have all the native artwork (photos) so linking can happen. Is this possible or do I need to just start over with creating the newsletter in InDesign?

I believe QuarkXPress can export to IDML. Have whoever sent you the file do that. Alternatively, you can look into Q2ID from Markzware.
