Converting Indesign SWF. or FLA. to a GIF

Hello,

I have created an animation via Indesign and wanted export it as a GIF. The only interactive export options Indesign offers are SWF. or FLA. Is there a way to take those file types and turn them into a GIF?

Thank you

There are some converters available. This is one Convert SWF to GIF (Online & Free) — Convertio

I've not tried any so can't vouch for them, but might be worth a try.

There is no direct export of animated GIF from Indesign. A workaround: play the animation in Indesign, and then use a screen capture utility to record to video format.
