Converting PDF to Indesign in Beta not working?

Hello,

I am trying to convert a PDF document to Indesign by using Indesign Beta, latest update 19.5.

However, it doesn't seem to work.

In the dropdown menu, I can't find the PDF extension (see attached screenshot); and when I attempt to convert a PDF file through "All files", the opening screen disappears and the screen remains blanco.

I have tried to delete my preferences (it didn't help); I checked if the files were made through Indesign (which they were), and I also have tested by exporting an Indesign file to PDF myself, and tried to open that file in Beta, but this also didn't work.

I found a similair thread on the forum, but this didn't contain the answer I was searching for.

Am I foolishly missing something?

Note: I use Windows; fully connected to internet; logged in at Creative Cloud, I'm in region continental Europe.

Thanks in advance for suggestions!

Thanks!

I have (finally) found the solution.

It´s still only possible to use this function on Beta in the English installation language.

Beta versions are for testing, You shouldn't rely on them for "real work".

Problems with beta/prerelease versions should be raised in the prerelease forum, not in this forum here, which is for the released versions.

I don't have any suggestions - sorry! - but all I know is that it works for me as expected here in Beta 19.5 on Mac.
