copy and apply text style key command

Back in the quark days there was a key command where you positioned your cursor in text, held down option shift, and then put your cursor in text style that you wanted to copy.

Is this possible in indesign?

If you want to mimic this behaviour, use the eyedropper tool.

Thank you, quit cumbersome. Might as well set a style with a key command then right. Im all about time saving shortcuts thats for sure.

I don't know, if there is a shortcut. I copy the text, past it delete it. The style remains in the document.
