Copy and paste text layer from Photoshop to indesign

Hello

I have a text layer with effects like strokes created in Photoshop cc 2018 , I want to copy and paste it into indesign with capability of editing text without losing any of the effects in indesign

How can I do that Please ???

    today i tackeled this with scripts. i wrote about it in my blog,

    im a comics artist so i need to transfer a lot of text from photoshop to indesign this is my solution

    You can do wanted Effects and styles in InDesign for text.

    If you can recreate the appearance of the text in InDesign, then DataMerge is possible. Otherwise, it won't work. If you can't reproduce the text effect in InDesign, you can look into using variables in Photoshop to get it done. It's not as intuitive or as easy as InDesign but it might be possible.

    you don't paste, you place the photoshop file in your indesign layout.

    You can select the art in your layout, and in the links panel, click the pencil icon. i till open the file in photoshopyou do your edits, save, and it will automatically update in the layout document in indesign.

    If it’s going to be done that way it is important to save the file as PDF from Photoshop to keep the vector properties of the text intact.
