Copy of an original document that updates automatically

Hello dear community,

I have the following request:

I want to create a multi-page A3 document in A4, the A3 pages are each divided into 2 halves. Now I want that the elements of the A4 version are automatically changed when something changes in the A3 version. So I need some kind of link between the two documents.

Is this possible with InDesign CS6 version 8.0?
