Crash when copy and pasting

Hi,

Today my InDesign started crashing whenever using shortcuts for copy, paste and cut within a text window.  Pasting text into a text pane doesn't work while trying to copy or cut text leads directly to the application crashing.  This, as you can imagine, is not great.  I've updated.  I re-installed, I deleted all preferences on a fresh install and still the issue persists.

Any idea what is going on?

Hi,

What version of InDesign are you using? Is it the latest 13.1 March release?

Try working after Troubleshooting 101: Replace, or "trash" your InDesign preferences

this is still an issue in November 2020 and pretty much renders InDesign as not fit for purpose - when is it going to be properly fixed - I'm on the latest version of InDesign and OS and have unistalled and re-installed more times than I can count.
