Question

Creating running headers that are different on each page

Hi,

I need to create running headers for the endnotes section of a book. Each header will be slightly different: "Notes to Pages 9–15," "Notes to Pages 16–24," etc. I cannot figure out how to do this. I tried making each page its own section, but that didn't work either. Help!

Thanks.

Vicki

InDesign doesn't do that out of the box. You need a script for that, see e.g.

Thank you! I’ll give it a try. I’ve already done the preliminary steps (creating a unique endnote style).
