Hi, is it possible to create the TOC with the Table of Contents feature for a book with several chapters without doing it individually?

Thanks for these responnses. I have the Styles set up and it worked perfectly in InDesign CC19, but the job fails in ID CC22. I may try to recreate the styles in CC22, instead of importing them.

You can have as many tocs in a document as you like.

Create a TOC style for each one.

Then when you create your ToC choose the one relevant that you want to place.

To expand... as I wasn't in a position earlier to provide screenshots

Setup 2 styles

Then when go to Layout>Table of Contents

You can select which one you want to use.

Hi @tinam94365979 ,

absolutely yes, if every chapter is an individual InDesign document loaded to an InDesign book file.

If that's the case and the book file is saved you'll find the option to do that for the whole book if you prepare a TOC style for your table of contents.
