Cross Reference to Image without adding Captions

Question

Hello i am wondering if its working in Indesign or if someone have a script for that.

Case:

I want to have a image reference, like cross reference but not through text/captions.

Which means if i add a cross reference i want to add just the page number where the illustration is situated.

This video is kinda old but its describing what i am searching for. Unfortunately i dont found how they made it or how to get this script. Would be helpful for every advise/ideas.

Time of the video 2:25 - you can see there that script is placing extra "destination" marker over the ads:

then make it invisible - and most likely make a group with the ad - and that's the trick.

I'm not sure if there is a free solution for that.
