Cross-References panel listing all names as number signs (#)

In my Cross-References panel, all names appear only as number signs/hashtags.

All the cross references are linked to text anchors.

It's so frustrating not being able to see the names of the text anchors in the

name section of the panel.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?
