[CS4] Chapter Numbering Style

is there anyway to get idNumberingStyle of chapter number, as chapterNumberFormat returns a string both in vbs and js. I am trying to stay language independent and some international formats seem to have UI language dependent names

No, but yes. Use app.findKeyStrings(string) to find the language
independent key string.
