Hi Everyone,

Thank you for reporting the issue.

We have isolated this issue, it is mainly present on macOS 10.13, and can occurs anytime whenever cursor related functionality being used like placing/drag-drop/selection etc.

We are actively working with Apple on this issue to get it resolved as soon as possible. However, it may not get fixed with the GM build of High Sierra (10.13), but a subsequent Dot Release.

We will surely let our customer know, once we have more information from Apple.

Workaround:

1) Restart InDesign.

2) Revert back to macOS 10.12.6

Hi Billy,

Just to confirm, are you using Mac OS 10.13? If yes, please turn off GPU performance from preferences and then check if this issue occurs.

This is a known issue with Mac OS 10.13 with GPU performance enabled. Here's a screenshot below for the preferences you need to turn OFF.

Regards,

Om

Hi billyc,

Thank you for uploading video, according to the video mouse is showing a line pattern on InDesign.

For this please try resetting preferences for InDesign and share results, for details click here Set preferences in Adobe InDesign

If it still does not work try removing preferences manually

  • Close InDesign and other Adobe applications
  • Delete Adobe InDesign and com.adobe.indesign folder from Users/[user]/Library/Caches/ and Users/[user]/Library/Preferences and launch InDesign from creative cloud.

If it still does not work please share the below mentioned information

  • Exact version of MAC OS
  • Graphic card and when it was updated last time.

Waiting for your response.

Regards
