Cursor/insertion point ignores text on one page.

Hi There. I hope someone can help with this. My entire document (book) is fine, except one page. On that page I can't click on any letter or word and have the insertion point show up in order to type or move or alter anything. When I hit the enter key on my keyboard the insertion point/cursor travels down the page as if it's over top of the text. Thank you for your input!

Without seeing your file, I would guess that there is an otherwise empty text frame over the text. Click on the text with the Selection tool and press delete. If the text is still there, you successfully deleted the empty frame. There may be more than one.

Hi @jmweinst:

This is now a different question from the one on this thread. I'll take one shot here, but if you need more information, please post your question on a new thread, and I will pick it up over there. Including screen shots with frame edges visible will help us help you more quickly.

Thanks, Barb. I got rid of the ghost page covering my text. One small problem: my page numbers – on odd pages – disappeared. So I put the page number in the right A-Master page and all was fine until I arrived at the culprit page where I had just gotten rid of the empty frame, and there were two page numbers at the bottom. Any ideas? Thanks again.
