Cursor no longer changes to an arrow automatically after selecting text to move the text within box

Just updated my version of Indesign to 2024. In past versions (for as long as I can remember), the text cursor would automatically change to an arrow after selecting the text so that I can quickly grab and move that selected text anwhere within that same text box. Doesn't happen now. Any suggestions on how to get this time-saving property back?

Is drag and drop editing enabled in your prefs?

Do you know where drag and drop editing is in prefs? Just search a bunch and couldn't find it.
