Data Merge and Shifted Pages

Hi!  I'm new to indesign and trying to use data merge (multiple records feature). All the information from my excel sheet is transferred correctly, however even with margins at zero everything is shifted slightly down and to the right.  My master page has a margin of .15 and I have a bleed of .125 all around, and what happens is the top left corner of my design, which is normally on the top left corner of the bleed, shifts down to the top left corner of the canvas.

This is also how it shows up on preview.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

The article of mine that I linked to didn't outline a fix,  it just mentioned that this issue is but one of many concerning data merge with multiple records per page. Unfortunately the bug remains but I do suggest raising it as a bug at indesign.uservoice.com

I think I found a fix. I tried everything and nothing worked until I locked everything on my layout before hitting the "Create Merge Document" button. No more shifted cell box!

It is a bug with data merge. I've written more about this elsewhere that also goes into other data merge foibles: https://colecandoo.com/2013/12/28/data-merge-multiple-record-madness/

If the answer wasn't in my post, perhaps it might be on my blog at colecandoo!

I appreciate the help.  I followed your steps, but the variable text in the master B page still gets shifted.  The static pages remain in their correct place, and when I do a preview before I create a merge document they all look right, but as soon as I do the merge the variable objects are shifted.  This happens even when I copy and paste my objects onto a new document with the correct measurments.  Am I doing something wrong?

I can't believe 7 years later and this is still an issue.
