Data merge auto resize

Hello! I am new to Indesign and I am trying to use data merge (multiple record feature). All the information in my Excel sheet is transferred correctly but when auto height is selected in the text box there is unwanted alignment.

You should rather import your Excel as a Table - and convert to text - or simply import as text.

Right now - each of your records is generated as a static TextFrame - in the set pattern - and auto height overlaps them.

Can you post a screenshot of your Excel file and how it should look like in InDesign?
