Data Merge Issues

Hi everyone,

I'm currently can't figure out why this is happening. I have my initial design on my master page and it all looks fine when I go through the preview of the data merge with images and content flowing correctly (I named the titles 1-10 so I can see if there are any discrepancies). Sure enough there were discrepancies. Initially when I go to create a merged document, the preview flows correctly besides for the images not showing up correctly (First Issue). Then when I create the actually merged document, it duplicates my number 5 and 6 records (Second Issue). Can anyone help me out here? I'm out of ideas.

Can't see that anything has been done incorrectly

Same here. I will say, however, that I've had issues something like that when using the CSV format for my data files, and since changing religiously to tab-delimited (.txt) files I haven't. It could be something for you to try differently, if applicable.

Can't see that anything has been done incorrectly, looks like a bug. May wish to see if the techs can replicate the fault - indesign.uservoice.com

That said, multiple record data merge has always been a nagging issue for me, so it is now to the point where I no longer use it: https://colecandoo.com/2013/12/28/data-merge-multiple-record-madness/ however I know that doesn't help you in your situation.

Does it make a difference if the objects are all grouped or not, of if elements are removed from the master page?

If the answer wasn't in my post, perhaps it might be on my blog at colecandoo!
