Data merge, specify specific items on one page?

Hi, I'm working on a catalog for a company using the data merge feature in InDesign.

Now, I have about 7 items to be added in that absolutely have to go on the same page. Is there any way to tell Data Merge to specifically target these items to be put together?

It sounds like you're trying to use Data Merge in a way for which it was not designed.

You can create a layout such that each page has the same number of objects, but you cannot customize individual pages to make them different from each other.
