Data Merging Wrap distorted text

Is there a way to distort a text field that at the same time is a data merge variable ?

Can you confirm the versaion of your software and operating system?
Can you describe the steps you are taking to set up your data merge and what you want to get at the end.
VAriables are a feature in InDesign, I am not sure you mean the same thing.

Are you trying to bring data in InDesign in text fields in a repeated/manner manner ?

How do you distort your text fields?
