Deactivate InDesign CS3 option greyed out

How can I de-activate my InDesign CS3? The option to do so under help is greyed out because it's no longer running properly on my computer since I upgraded it to High Sierra?

Thank you

I've managed to get the Deactivate button working, but it wont do it because it says "No Connection" To complete deactivation you need to have working Internet connection....Deactivation uses https which may not work behind some firewalls. Id you suspect this is the problem, check proxy settings or consult system administrator. Turned firewall off, that didn't help. Now I'm stuck...I'd before greatful for any instructions what to do next. Thank you

I think, this would explain your problems better:

Activation or connection error when starting CS3 or Acrobat 8

Thanks, I got a new serial number, but I think I'd still need to somehow deactivate it to get it working on a new computer, is that right?
