Dialog windows remain behind the indesign program anda none of the keyboard keys work?

Since indesign dialog windows remain behind the indesign program, none of the keys are active. Shouldn't the dialog window always be at the front? I've been facing this problem for a few versions.

Are you using any third party plug-ins with your InDesign? If so have they been updated to whatever version of InDesign that you are using?

I use both PC and Mac. The problem is the same. I experience this problem more often when using Mac. It is very interesting that the program has a dialog window behind it.

I've never had this problem with InDesign on a PC.

Have you tried Alt+Tab to switch between windows / dialogs?
