Did they remove the divide option??? Window> object and layout> pathfinder> divide

Thanks for bringing this up! I've checked across multiple versions, including InDesign 2024 and 2025, and I couldn't find the Divide option in the Pathfinder panel like we have in Illustrator. I totally understand how important this functionality is to your workflow, and I'm really sorry it's not available in InDesign at the moment.

As a workaround - you could use an extra rectangle - after you duplicate your original object and then use 2nd rectangle to "remove" the other side.

Have InDesign 2022 and it's in 2022 either.
