Different value for text variable(running header) in document

Question

Hi,Is there any way to have different value for text-variable (running-header) in inDesign cc 2017.my problem scenario is that i have a master page that content chapter name custom text-variable, which is applied in different pages, i am having different virtual chapter and i want different value of that text-variable in that chapter.is there any way to do it using text-variable.thanx

HiIt's probably doable but... I don't really understand what you want exactly.You are talking about chapters... Did you create an INDD book ? What is it you are calling "virtual chapter"?Also, you are talking about running-header AND custol text-variable. These are two different things... which one are you using?In order to understand your request, please provide screenshots...regardsVinny
