Question

Disable Adobe Fonts

I know this has been asked before, but all found topics are older

We know you can turn off Adobe fonts in the CC preferences.

Is there a way to prevent the user from turning it back on from the Adobe InDesign missing font dialog? In this dialog is a button called Enable Adobe Fonts.

Ideally we'd like to just remove this button. Im open to any solutions, even scripting if its possible to edit this default dialog interface.

Hi there,

I agree with Peter. You may share the suggestion to include such option in the app on Adobe InDesign Uservoice. Product team might consider it in the future.

Ashutosh

It might be possible to block it at the firewall? I remember that the Enable Adobe  Fonts button didn't work for me when I had the CC Windows app blackholed & had blocked all vaguely Adobe-related connections at the firewall.
